Replacing the Front Brake Pads on a VW Golf 6

Replace the front brake pads on a VW Golf 6. Lift the car on a column lift (jack) to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a socket wrench) along with the respective bolts. Unscrew the caliper locking bolt, then remove the caliper from the bracket. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the wheel hub caliper, then remove the brake caliper. Install the new disc and the new pads onto the caliper, then refit the brake caliper onto the brake disc. Tighten all bolts and reattach the wheel.
