Removing the Front Seats on VW Golf 5

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008
Part: Seat

Disconnect all the covering plastics located under the seat. Move the seat back (using the electric buttons if available) and raise the seat base. Then, use a socket spanner to remove the securing bolts on the front rail. Move the seat forward using the adjustment lever and remove the securing pins from the rear of the rail. Finally, disconnect the power connectors for the front seat. Install the new seat in the car by reversing the disassembly steps.
