Replacement of the Right Door Panel on a VW Golf 5

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

Replace the front right door panel on a Volkswagen Golf 5. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Using a screwdriver, remove the screws in the handle area (after removing the plastic cover and switch panel). Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Finally, pull the panel away with your hands and unclip it from the metal door (disconnect the wiring harness and the opening cable). Carry out the desired maintenance inside the door and refit the panel.
