Learn how to remove the cover panel of the door on a Golf 7. Remove the cover panel for replacement or maintenance inside. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Remove the plastic covering above the handle, then unscrew the securing screws inside.

Unscrew all the screws that hold the door cover panel and detach the securing clips. Pull off the panel and unclip it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable).

Perform the desired maintenance inside the door or replace the panel.
