Replacing the Starter Motor on a VW New Beetle

Let's see how to remove the starter motor on a Volkswagen New Beetle. Lift the bonnet, and remove the panel covering the engine. Disconnect the power terminals of the starter motor using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the pressure of the tabs, undo the securing bolts of the starter motor with a socket spanner and remove it from the engine bay. Finally, install the new starter motor, reconnect the power cables, and secure with the associated bolts. Prepare to refit the engine onto the vehicle along with all its components.
