Operation: We replace the damaged knob of the Golf 5

We replace the damaged knob of the Golf 5, take it apart and replace it. Disconnect the frame of the leather cap with a plastic lever, cut the knob tightening clamp. We take the knob in our hands and rotate it to the left and right until it is removed from the shift rod. Take the new knob and insert it into the rod on the central tunnel, tighten the same in the rod with the clamp; we mount the new leather cap with clips. Finally, we test the correct assembly of the knob with the movement of the rod on the central tunnel. We replace the leather cap if damaged.
