How to Remove the Door Panel on VW Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017
Part: Door trim panel

Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay if you need to disconnect cables, etc. Use a screwdriver to remove the handle cover, then unscrew the screws located in the handle. Remove the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Finally, pull the panel away from the door with your hands (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door. Before refitting the panel, remove any remaining plastic clips from the door; fit them onto the panel.
