In this video tutorial, you will learn how to replace the lambda sensor on the Volkswagen Golf fourth generation. First, disconnect the battery.

Then, lift the vehicle using axle stands and locate the sensor. Next, to remove it, disconnect all the wiring within a rubber cover: unplug the sensor connector and then use a socket spanner to unscrew the lambda sensor, finishing by hand.

At this point, refit the new lambda sensor and reconnect its connector.
