Removing the Roof Panel on Golf 4

Is the roof covering panel damaged? Here’s how to remove the panel on a Golf 4. Remove the side handles of the panel with a screwdriver, then take off the sun visors and the overhead lighting unit located in the panel. Remove the A-pillar trims on the sides. Once everything is removed, detach the headlining panel around the perimeter of the car's roof. When the panel is free from clips, you can pull it out of the vehicle. Be careful when pulling it out as it may break. Insert and fit the new covering panel along with all the attached pieces.
