Install Shark Fin Antenna on VW Jetta

Replacing the original antenna with a shark fin type will give your car a more modern and appealing look. To perform this operation, lower the headlining to access the antenna mounting nut. Go to the rear of the cabin and, using a plastic trim tool, unclip the trim strip along the rear edge, which is secured with pressure clips, then unscrew the fixing screws of the plastic support plate. Lower the headlining enough to access the antenna base, disconnect the antenna cable, and unscrew the mounting nut to remove the old antenna and install the new one, reversing the process: ensure the gasket underneath is properly positioned.
