Replacing the Radio in a VW Jetta

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

Replace the radio in the Volkswagen Jetta if you want to change it from the dashboard. Remove the trim above the central plastic dashboard, then detach the surround that encases the radio. Once the radio surround is removed, unscrew the securing screws next to the radio using a screwdriver. Pull the stereo out by hand and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). To reassemble, reverse the disassembly steps. Install the new radio, screw in the screws, and cover it with the surround.
