Removing the Door Panel of the Volkswagen Touran

Model: Volkswagen Touran MK 1, 1T - Years 2003-2015

To replace the door panel of the Volkswagen Touran, first, secure the vehicle on a flat surface or on a ramp. Once done, use a small flat plastic lever to remove the trim covering the door handle and the switch panel for the electric window controls (after disconnecting the electrical supply). Now, unscrew the five screws (two located in the handle, one under the switches, and two at the bottom of the panel). At this point, use a small crowbar to unclip the clips (at the bottom and sides of the panel) holding the panel in place. Once unclipped, disconnect the mechanical linkages for the door opening and window, and you can remove the panel.
