Side Window Seal Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Maggiolino MK 1 - Years 1938-1980

The first operation to perform is the removal of the door panel: unclip the cover of the window opening handle and the cover inside the opening handle; then unscrew the underlying screws and unclip the panel by pulling it upwards. At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the window sliding pad, lower it down and extract it after releasing the support bracket. Then unclip the window seals and extract the seal contained within the door pillar. Unclip the fixing clips of the chrome frame and remove the deflector (there is a fixing screw and then just pull it backwards). Remove the chrome frame by pressing it inwards to unclip it. Proceed in reverse for the installation of the new kit, first inserting the chrome frame, installing the deflector, then the seals, and finally the glass and the panel.
