Let's see in this video how to disassemble and replace the mechanism and the motor for the window lifter on a Volkswagen Golf fifth series, but also on other models of the manufacturer. First, we open the front door and remove the door panel, removing all the plastic covers and unscrewing the screws below; once removed, disconnect the handle cable and the electrical connector of the window lifter. At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the window lifter motor and disconnect all the electrical connectors; then we unscrew the side screws of the door and remove the mechanism. Then reassemble everything, as in the video!
