Ignition Coil Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf III, MK 3, Golf 3 - Years 1991-1997
Part: Ignition coil

Obtain the correct replacement coil. To access the coil replacement, you need to remove the plastic cover and part of the windscreen wiper mechanism. Disconnect the ignition coil connector and unscrew the two securing bolts with a ratchet spanner, removing them manually to prevent dropping. You can now remove the coil by pulling it upwards. Refit the new coil, ensuring the high-tension connectors are correctly positioned. Reinsert the two securing bolts and reconnect the power connector. If necessary, replace the spark plugs. Conduct a functionality test.
