In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove the door lock module from a fourth-generation Volkswagen Golf. First, open the door, in this case, the rear one, and remove the door panel; to do this, take off all the plastic covers and unscrew the fastening screws found underneath.

Once you have removed the handle cable and the electric connector for the window lifter, unscrew the side screws of the lock to extract the central locking mechanism from inside the door, as shown in the video tutorial!
