Replacing the Antenna on a Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

Let’s look at replacing the antenna and its mounting base on a Volkswagen Polo. Open the tailgate of the car, use a lever between the trim plastic and the roof panel (without breaking the trim), and pull the plastic cover out from above the panel. Move the cover panel and unscrew the securing screws under the antenna support (located between the metal and the support). Fit the new support onto the roof of the car (screw the bolt in with a screwdriver until fully tightened). Test the antenna’s functionality once the installation is complete.
