How to Remove the Seat Cable on a Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

In this tutorial, you will learn how to remove the seat cable from a fourth-generation Volkswagen Golf, specifically the R32 version. First, disconnect the two battery terminals: open the front bonnet and disconnect the electrical connectors located underneath. Next, remove the plastic clip holding the seat cable and slide out the pin from the cable mechanism, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew all the seat fixing screws to lift it out. Finally, completely remove the seat cable, as illustrated in the video!
