Replacing Front Wing on Volkswagen Golf

To remove the wing on a Volkswagen Golf, start by unscrewing the 11 bolts in the wheel arch using a T25 Torx key (it is advisable to turn the steering wheel for more working space). Once the wheel arch cover is removed, clean the area and unscrew the three 10 mm bolts with a socket wrench.

Partially remove the front bumper by unscrewing the bolts above and below: just enough to move the part near the affected wing. Now unscrew the three bolts securing the plastic bracket above the wing, then remove it and unscrew the two bolts that are now exposed.

Open the bonnet and unscrew the four bolts securing the wing from above. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
