Before starting, open the bonnet of your Volkswagen Golf. Begin by unclipping and removing the front grille positioned above the bumper, using a flathead screwdriver to leverage it. This will reveal the upper screws securing the bumper, which you will need to unscrew and remove.

After this, unclamp the front air intakes, then unscrew the screws underneath.

Once this step is complete, you can unclamp and remove the front bumper, and the disassembly will be finished.
