Front Wheel Bearing Replacement

To replace the front hub bearing, it is necessary to disassemble the hub itself to position it under a hydraulic press, allowing for the removal and insertion of the bearing. Lift the vehicle on a lift (or on suitable axle stands) and remove the wheel, then proceed to disassemble the brake caliper, its support, the disc, the protective shield, the track rod ends (the one for the wishbone and the one for the steering rack), the central nut securing the driveshaft, and the bolts securing the shock absorber. Once the hub is removed, extract the ABS sensor and proceed to remove the bearing races (the one attached to the sensor and the one still inserted in the hub): it may be effective to score it radially to create the right play for extraction, which should be completed under the press with the appropriate pad. Next, insert the new bearing, also under the press, and secure the ABS sensor. Refit the hub onto the vehicle, proceeding in reverse.
