Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf 2, MK 2 - Years 1983-1992
Part: Rear bumper
Operation: Removing the rear bumper Volkswagen Golf 2

Open the trunk and unscrew the three 8 mm screws on the upper part of the rear bumper. Then move to the lower area, perhaps lifting the car with a jack and unscrew the two screws, also 8 mm, placed just behind the wheel (one on each side). Now access the area under the bumper well and unscrew the four 17 mm bolts with a socket wrench. To remove the bumper, the operation is very simple but must be carried out carefully: remove it from its seat by pulling it by hand, one part at a time, without damaging the joints and until it is completely disassembled. As you can see, this is an operation within everyone's reach.
