Removing Rear Bumper on Volkswagen Golf 2

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 2, Golf 2 - Years 1983-1992

Open the boot and unscrew the three 8 mm screws located at the top of the rear bumper. Then move to the lower area, possibly raising the car with a jack and unscrew the two screws, also 8 mm, located just behind the wheel (one on each side). Now access the area underneath the bumper and unscrew the four 17 mm bolts using a socket wrench. To remove the bumper, the operation is very simple but must be done gently: pull it out of its seat by hand, one part at a time, without damaging the clips until completely removed. As you can see, this is an operation within everyone's reach.
