How to Replace the Front Headlight on a VW Transporter T4

Model: Volkswagen Transporter T4, MK 4 - Years 1990-2003

In this guide, we will describe the procedure to replace the front headlight on a VW Transporter T4. Start by opening the engine bay, unscrew the upper and lower bolts of the grille, and detach the front from both sides by inserting an L-shaped hook into the gap between the wing and the grille and pulling to extract it. At this point, the fastening bolts of the headlight will be visible; unscrew them using an 8 mm socket. Move the headlight forward to disconnect the lamp connectors and detach the indicator from the headlight. Before fitting the new headlight, ensure that it contains the bulbs. Restore the vehicle and adjust the headlight beam.
