Painting Only the Inner Part of the Manufacturer's Emblem

If you want to give a touch of originality to the original manufacturer's emblem, you can consider painting the inner edges matte black while leaving the front surface chrome: to do this, there is no need to mask anything, just choose the right product. There are special paints available (known as Plasti Dip) that essentially coat the surface with a sort of film, which is also very durable (it is used to cover wheel rims) and can be removed like a real film when needed. After thoroughly cleaning the emblem, spray it with Plasti Dip paint and, once dry, remove the film that has formed only from the front surface of the emblem.
