How to Remove the Steering Wheel of a VW Polo

How do you remove the steering wheel of a VW Polo? Let's look at removing the cover pieces and the steering wheel. Remove the cover plastics around the steering wheel using a lever, insert a medium-length screwdriver into the rear slots of the steering wheel and unclip the fasteners. Once the fasteners are unclipped, disconnect the airbag and its associated power connectors. Unscrew the central steering wheel bolt, then pull the steering wheel off the steering column. Insert the steering wheel back onto the steering column and tighten the securing screws. To finish the assembly, reconnect the power connector and secure the airbag above the steering wheel.
