Replacing the Water Pump on a Volkswagen Touareg

Model: Volkswagen Touareg MK 2, 7P - Years 2010-2018
Part: Pump

With the engine off, lift the bonnet. Remove the engine cover, as shown in the video. Now unscrew the three bolts on the water pump pulley. Unscrew the bolt related to the tensioner and remove it. Loosen only the other three Torx screws related to the water pump, then go under the engine bay and remove the lower protection by unscrewing the three bolts. Place a container under the engine bay to collect at least some of the fluid that will come out. Finish unscrewing the pump bolts and extract the pump. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
