Replacing the Lock on a Volkswagen Jetta

How to remove the door lock? Let's see how to install the lock in the door of a Volkswagen Jetta. Remove the handle cover, unscrew the screws located there with a screwdriver. Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the securing clips, disconnect the power connectors. Grip the panel with your hands and pry it free from the door. Unscrew the screws securing the cover above the door, then remove it. Once the cover above the door is removed, unscrew the door lock until it is detached from inside.
