In this video, we will see how to change the locks on the Volkswagen Jetta if it does not open or close. The lock comes out by inserting a screwdriver into the hole on the side of the door thickness; this screw must be turned at least 20/25 times, and the youtuber recommends counting them.

Once all the turns have been made, then we can remove the lock, but be careful, the screw inside must not be removed, otherwise we will not be able to put it back in place. Now that we have removed the lock, we need to calibrate the wire, moving its end with the tip of the screwdriver, and pulling it with pliers to move it from its previous position.

Now we put the lock back in place, pulling the handle and adjusting the closing screw again. Let's test it and now it works.
