How to Replace the Door Lock on a VW Jetta

Do you want to remove the door lock from a VW Jetta? Let's look at removing the lock from inside the door. Open the car door, unscrew the screw located at the side of the door with a screwdriver (as shown in the video), remove the lock cylinder to the right or left of the handle, then slide the handle to the left of the door (if you want to remove the handle). Remove the door release lock and fit a new piece. Ensure that the new lock matches the original one removed earlier. Tighten the lock screw at the side of the door.
