Installing a Double Din Aftermarket Sat Nav

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

Release the frame around the car radio by prying along the edges and unscrew the four mounting screws located at the four corners; then extract the car radio from its location by pulling it forward and disconnecting the relevant plugs; connect the adaptor wiring to the original plugs and then connect the new car radio, taking care not to pinch the cables as you insert it back into its location. Tighten the four mounting screws and apply the frame. Turn on the car radio and enter the settings menu to perform the setup.
