How to Remove the Clutch Slave Cylinder from a Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

Before starting, open the bonnet of your Volkswagen Golf. Begin by disconnecting the relevant hose. Then, enter the cabin and unscrew the lower bolts that secure the base of the clutch pedal. Once done, unscrew and remove the nut that secures the pedal pin, then remove the pedal itself. At this point, unscrew the bolts that secure the clutch slave cylinder. Once you have completed this step, you can extract and remove the cylinder itself, and you will have finished the disassembly.
