How do you replace the clutch cylinder of the Volkswagen Golf?

The procedure for replacing the clutch cylinder on the Volkswagen Golf involves opening the hood so that access to the back of the engine compartment is possible. Here, it will be possible to locate the bolts that secure the clutch pedal to its housing, also disconnecting all the appropriate connectors. Once these fastening elements have been removed, it will be possible to remove the pedal from the interior of the cabin and detach the clutch cylinder from the mechanism. In this way, it will be possible to insert the new cylinder, also securing the corresponding pedal.
