To replace the clutch cylinder on a Volkswagen Golf, you need to completely remove the clutch pedal, disconnecting the panel located behind the pedal assembly and unplugging the connectors and pipes connected to the pedal. Once the pedal has been completely removed, you can loosen the screws securing the cylinder, removing it from its housing and installing the new replacement part; after installing the new cylinder, reconnect the pipes and connectors, secure the pedal, and check that it functions correctly.
