How to Replace the Clutch Cylinder on a Volkswagen Golf?

To replace the clutch cylinder on a Volkswagen Golf, open the bonnet to access the rear of the engine bay. Here, locate the screws securing the clutch pedal to its housing, and disconnect all relevant connectors. Once all fastening elements are removed, pull the pedal from inside the cabin and detach the clutch cylinder from the mechanism. You can then insert the new cylinder, properly installing the pedal.
