How to Replace the Front Brake Disc of a Volkswagen Passat

Before starting, lift the front end of your Volkswagen Passat. Begin by unscrewing and removing the bolts that secure the front wheel, then remove the wheel itself. Next, unscrew the bolts securing the brake caliper, then move the brake caliper itself. At this point, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the disc to the hub, then disengage and extract the disc itself. Once you have removed the brake disc from the hub of your Volkswagen Passat, you can finally take it out, and the disassembly will be complete. To install the new brake disc, simply follow this procedure in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.
