How to Replace the Key Battery of a Volkswagen?

Replacing the remote battery of a Volkswagen is very simple, but the procedure differs depending on the remote you have, as there are two versions, an older and a more recent one. In this video, you can see the replacement procedure for both versions. For the new version, it is extremely simple; just extend the metal key and lift the cover that protects the battery to the side. For the older version, after extending the metal key, insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the central transverse slot to separate the remote into two parts. Now, similarly to the new version, lift the cover to the side, which will contain the battery to be replaced. In both versions, the battery model is CR2032.
