Replacing the Key Battery on a Volkswagen Tiguan

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan BW, MK 2, AD - Years 2016-2025

Gently pull the tab on the remote of your Volkswagen Tiguan as shown in the video to extract the manual spare key. Now, insert a small flat screwdriver into the gap left by the key and pry off the cover (the same key is used in the video instead of the flat screwdriver). Voila! Here is the battery. Now, simply remove it from its slot and replace it with an equivalent one. Reassemble the remote, and you're done. This is a very simple task that anyone can do.
