Replacing the Serpentine Belt on a Volkswagen Passat B6

In this brief guide, discover how to remove and replace the serpentine belt or the V-belt on a Volkswagen Passat B6 TDI. First, lift the vehicle and remove the lower panels on the right side by unscrewing the screws with a T25 Torx key, allowing you to remove the right front wheel arch; then use a 16 mm spanner to loosen the belt tensioner, as illustrated in the video. At this point, remove and replace the belt with a new one, turning it by hand afterwards to check for correct installation!
