Today, in this video tutorial, you will see how to remove and replace the timing belt and water pump on the Volkswagen Passat 2.0 TDI. First, open the bonnet and start by disconnecting the electrical connector of the mass airflow sensor, unscrewing the Torx screws of the bracket; then remove the coolant reservoir and the fuel filter, as illustrated in the video. At this point, remove the serpentine belt and take off the timing cover after unscrewing all the screws; take the necessary references for replacing the timing belt, following the video to the end for the replacement of the water pump!
