How to replace the V-belt of the Volkswagen Passat B6

Today we will explain how to replace the serpentine belt of the Volkswagen Passat model b6 on your own. To replace the belt, we need to lift the car using a jack and safety stands. Using a T25 socket wrench, we unscrew the fastenings of the wheel arch lining. After removing the wheel arch, we clean the fastening devices using a wire brush. Using a combination wrench size 16, we set aside the tensioner pulley of the serpentine belt. We then remove the belt and return the tensioner pulley to its original position. We install the new belt, setting aside the tensioner pulley of the serpentine belt using a combination wrench size 16. Using the same wrench, we return the pulley to its original position. We screw the wheel arch lining back on and with the T25 socket wrench, we install and screw in the fastening elements of the fender. Finally, we lower the vehicle.
