Volkswagen Passat - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Passat B7 - Years 2010-2014
Part: V-belt
Operation: How to change the serpentine belt on a Volkswagen Passat B7

In this video we see how to change the serpentine belt on a Volkswagen Passat B7 version; we will need a 16mm wrench. We see in the video where this belt is located. In fact, there is not much space to work with, so we will have to do some small acrobatics. We place the 16mm wrench on the tensioner pulley and pull towards the front of the engine, in order to loosen the belt tension, without completely releasing it, as this could damage it. Doing it with two people is ideal, and in fact that's what our youtuber did, who was able to remove and reposition the belt quite easily (unfortunately without showing us, because his assistant was in charge of the camera). However, make sure that when we put the belt on the crank pulley, the belt teeth are correctly positioned.

In order to replace the horn on the Citroà «n Berlingo, the vehicle must be raised so that the screws that secure the left front wheel can be loosened and removed completely. Once this wheel has been removed, it will be possible to access the screws that secure the internal cover of the corresponding wheel arch: this will have to be detached and it will be possible to access the components inside, including the horn. This will need to be disconnected from its connector and removed from its holders, so that it can be replaced with a new spare part.
