Removing the Inner Panel of a Golf 6

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

Let's look at removing the door panel of a Golf 6. Disconnect the battery terminals in the engine bay, then remove the cover of the internal handle on the panel. Remove the trim near the lock and unscrew the screws inside. Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Pull the panel away with your hands and disconnect it from the door (unplug the power wiring and the opening cable). Replace the panel with an identical one. Secure the panel with all the pieces.
