Let's see in this video tutorial how to disassemble and replace the front axle shaft of the Volkswagen Golf sixth series, following the instructions below. First we lift the car and remove the front wheel; then we go to unscrew the central bolt of the wheel bearing. At this point we are going to unscrew all the fixing pins of our semi-shaft, which we find at the base; then we are going to extract the drive shaft, after having disconnected it from the braking system. We just have to replace it and reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure of disassembly!
