Replacing the Remote Battery in a Passat CC

Do you want to replace the battery in your VW Passat key? Here’s how to replace the battery inside. Take your ignition key and remove the key blade along with the chrome part. Pry between the two plastic sections until they separate. Extract the flat battery using a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the plastic parts of the key after replacement. Check the remote's proper functioning by testing the door lock and unlock buttons. Insert the key blade back into the key.
