Opening the remote key of a Volkswagen, for example, to replace the battery or the motherboard, is very simple. Follow these steps in this tutorial. For this operation, you only need a small flat-head screwdriver. First, press the metal button and extend the emergency key. Once done, leverage the indicated slot with the screwdriver to separate the two halves and open the section containing both the battery and the circuit. At this point, you can proceed with replacing the faulty component as needed. If changing the battery, it should be a CR2032 type.
