How to open the Volkswagen New Beetle with a flat battery

In this tutorial, you will learn how to open the vehicle with a flat remote battery on the Volkswagen New Beetle third generation, as well as on most models from the Volkswagen group. First, take the physical key; then, leverage the small slot at the bottom of the rectangular cover of the handle to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, you will have access to the mechanical lock, where you will insert the key to open the vehicle; you can then replace the remote battery!
