To replace the air filter on a Volkswagen Polo, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. You will find the air filter housing at the rear of the engine block: remove the housing and open it to take out and replace the air filter inside.

Once the new filter is inserted into the housing, close it and secure it with the appropriate screws in its place within the engine bay.
