How to replace the remote battery on the Volkswagen Golf 7?

To replace the battery in the key fob of the Volkswagen Golf 7, press the button to release the key blade and use an object to pry open the top cover of the remote. This will allow you to remove the cover under which the battery is located. You can then extract the battery from its housing using the same object to pry it out. At this point, insert the new battery and close the remote with the top cover. After replacement, check that the key functions correctly.
