How to Replace the Ignition Switch on a Volkswagen Super Beetle?

To replace the ignition switch on the Volkswagen Super Beetle, first remove the steering wheel by loosening its corresponding fixing screws and the nut of the central pin. Once the steering wheel is removed, loosen the underlying screws and disconnect the connector from the bottom to remove the indicator stalk. At this point, insert a screwdriver into the hole of the ignition switch housing to release a pin. Once this pin is released, the switch can be pulled out and replaced with a new spare part.
