In order to replace the ignition lock of the Volkswagen Super Beetle you must first remove the steering wheel, loosening its corresponding fixing screws and loosening the nut of the central pin. Once the steering wheel has been removed, it will be necessary to loosen the screws underneath and disconnect the connector on the lower part to remove the light switches. At this point, a screwdriver will need to be inserted into the hole in the block housing to release a pin. Once this pin has been released, the block can be extracted and replaced with a new spare part.
