How to Replace the Timing Chain on a Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the timing chain on a Volkswagen Polo, loosen the screws securing the cover on the upper part of the engine block, as well as the one on the right side. Under this side cover, you will find the chain around the respective sprockets: the chain will be accessible after removing some obstructing parts. It can also be removed by disassembling the tensioner and replacing it with a new spare part. Once it is inserted, tension it and reassemble all the components of the engine block that were removed.
